Heartland Church, which began in the Scheske’s living room in 2001 with 17 people, has grown to more than 6,000 people. Pastor Scheske also holds leadership roles in Converge, a network of churches, and actively participates in community organizations, including the Fishers Rotary Club. He is known for his work in clean water initiatives, benefiting hundreds of thousands in Sierra Leone. Additionally, Pastor Scheske is a founding member of the Greater Indianapolis Multifaith Alliance and holds advanced degrees in Leadership. Darryn and Loree, his wife of 33 years, are blessed with three married children, two grandsons, and a long-haired, miniature dachshund.
